Advanced materials have allowed Backcountry Designs to shave the weight on these pads. The Air Waves rugged non-slip nylon is D.W.R. impregnated to protect against water and stains. Constructed of super lightweight bonded open-cell foam, and equipped with an easy-to-use cold weather safe valve, this pad is ideal for those who need to keep weight to a minimum, but recognize the value of a warm and comfortable perch on the trail.
