The Eureka Backcountry 1 brings the ease and stability of the rectangular dome to single person shelters.  It also features greater area inside to allow you to keep your gear dry and close at hand.  The pack size is noticeably small, with poles that break down to very short sections so it's easy to get it all in your pack without tying poles on outside.  It's a great choice for paddling, backpacking and bike touring during spring, summer, or fall.

The Backcountry 1 also features 7000 series shock-corded aluminum poles and plenty of mesh for ventilation.  The bathtub floor helps prevent seeping while the oversized door allows for easy entry and exit.  Like all Eureka tents, it features a limited lifetime warranty.
