Expanding on the features of the eTrex Legend H, the Garmin eTrex Vista H is designed for serious adventurers who need the best navigational tools.  It adds a barometric altimeter and  electronic compass to the useful feature list along with 24MB of internal storage.

The eTrex Vista® H comes preloaded with a basemap of North and South America along with Garmin's Marine Navigational Aids database.  The electronic compass provides bearing information even while you're standing still and the barometric altimeter helps you track your exact altitude and can even allow you to plot barometric pressure over time, which can help you keep an eye on changing weather conditions.  The Vista H provides precise GPS positioning using correction data obtained from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). This product will provide position accuracy to less than three meters when receiving WAAS corrections.

The eTrex Vista H boasts an internal memory capacity of 24 megabytes, which allows it to accept downloaded mapping data from Garmin's MapSource® CD-ROMs, including U.S. Recreational Lakes with Fishing Hot Spots.  PC cable for map downloading included.
