The Petzl CORE Battery Pack pushes the Petzl Tikka and Zipka line of headlamps into the next generation.  The rechargeable CORE pack slips right in to replace your normal batteries and actually allows you to customize the performance of your headlamp.

CORE features Lithium Ion Polymer technology for excellent cold weather performance.  Attach it to your computer and you can actually use the Petzl OS software to customize light and battery performance to suit your activity.  Choose the maximum possible battery life, brightest possible output or anything in between. 

The CORE charges from any standard or micro USB charger or port including computers, phone chargers, solar panels, car chargers etc.  It's designed to fit all of the Tikka 2 and Zipka 2 line of lamps.  It recharges up to 300 times to replace over 900 LR03 or AAA type batteries!
