The Lariat 65 is by far the most versatile of Mountainsmith's All Terrain Backpacks.  Why?  Because it's two packs in one with a detachable Summit pack that can be combined with the Lariat or used alone for short jaunts from camp.  

The Lariat features a divided main compartment with an external zipper that allows easy access to put all of your gear conveniently within reach.  It has all the features you would expect from Mountainsmith with a 75 liter total capacity, treking pole mounts, an internal hydration sleeve, and a top lid that converts into a lumber pack.

The Lariat's unique detatchable summit pack sets it apart from the rest.  It's perfect for any short hike away from camp, and it has a back panel to accomodate a hydration sleeve. Just like the rest of Mountainsmith's All Terrain line, the Lariat is constructed with 100% Recycled PET ReDura fabric.
