If you're looking for a heavy duty "ready for anything" blade, you've found it.  The Smith & Wesson HRT1 features a VERY substantial full tang Wharncliffe style blade that maintains it's thickness through most of the length of the blade while still maintaining sleek looks with a false edge on top. 

The steel is 440C stainless with a low reflectivity black powder coat finish. The handle is of black Zytel with a deep finger choil that gives the knife terrific feel.  The ABS sheath is built for heavy duty use as well and holds the knife with gator like tenacity so you can carry the knife confidently in an inverted style from a vest or pack.  Lashing holes in the sheath allow you to secure it just about anywhere.
