A very useful knife for carry in the outdoors is the standard boot knife. For awesome utility, it's just a winner. We've used them for everything from cutting rope to peeling potatoes, from white water paddling to opening tin cans. This design just holds up. The Smith & Wesson HRT3 is a fine example of the boot style knife. It's a great choice for your camp, the river, or the wilderness with double edges that offer longer use without dulling. The 3.5" blade is constructed of 440C stainless. It stands up well to cutting tasks and could even accomplish a little light chopping for emergency shelters or camp gadgets. The 7.5" overall length offers enough heft to feel natural in your hand, while still remaining a reasonable size for carry. The rubberized handle provides a sure grip even with cold or wet hands. Composition Sheath is included.
